SwiftEnterprise Training

The SwiftEnterprise product training has two versions –

  • Basic training – this covers the basic functioning of all the modules purchased by the customer
  • Advanced training – that covers in-depth training of SwiftReports, SwiftRules, and SwiftForms

Training is designed as a combination of both instructor-led classroom sessions and hands-on sessions and follows a “Train the Trainer” approach.

In a typical SwiftEnterprise implementation, the customer identifies a “Core Team” that is involved in driving the implementation of the overall solution is the customer organization. Digité’s Professional Services team trains the Core Team members who, in turn, train the rest of the SwiftEnterprise users in the organization.

Since most SwiftEnterprise implementations involve a fair amount of configuration of the product – and setting up customer-specific process template content, the Core Team, which defines and builds this solution is best suited to conduct the training for the rest of the user community in the organization.

SwiftKanban Training

SwiftKanban is a fairly intuitive and easy to adopt product by Kanban teams and comes with a lot of online resources to help you understand its functionality.

However, it is useful to have the initial teams implementing SwiftKanban to undergo some product training in order to plan for an effective architecture of Kanban implementation and adoption.

While a lot of the board level design decisions and policies must be adopted by respective teams, some key aspects of the initial planning for an enterprise implementation include the following considerations –

  • Basic Kanban Board organization – by team or product or business function, etc
  • Adoption of some minimum set of best practices around Kanban cadences such as Daily Standups, Replenishment Meetings, Retrospectives or Ops Review Meetings and others
  • Policies relating to the use of and definitions of custom card types, Class of Service values, and other master data that may be used commonly across Kanban boards for ease of comparison and collation of data
  • Standardized hierarchy of card-types for a common understanding of your Lean/ Kanban related terms, processes and rules
