Over the last 3+ decades, IT Service organizations have adopted PMI and CMMI practices in their execution DNA. In contrast, they have been slow/ hesitant to adopt Lean/ Agile.
In this whitepaper, we discuss some of these concerns for the larger community. We hope to establish that Lean/ Agile thinking is as applicable to IT services as it is to product companies. Of course, it has to be adapted but then, Lean/ Agile has always been about “Inspect and Adapt”.
