We’ve added a couple of new features and enhanced some existing ones to make SwiftKanban even more compelling to teams working with Kanban! Here is a quick rundown –
Highlight Cards at Risk of Delay
Wouldn’t you love to have your Kanban board tell you what cards might be about to get delayed? SwiftKanban can now give you visual cue when cards may be at risk of delay! You can configure the number of days you want a card to be highlighted before the card’s ‘deadline date’. You can do this for different thresholds on different boards – this is a project level setting.
To configure this, all you need to do is –
– Select ‘Modify Process’ from the left menu dock of the Kanban board
– Under ‘Other Policies’, select the option to highlight cards at risk
The cards will be highlighted if their Due Date or Release Date approaches.
Highlight what cards Changed over the last ‘x’ days
If you like to start your Daily Standup with a quick look at what changed since yesterday or over the last few days, you will love this feature! Simply click on the Board Activity icon – and select the number of days for which you want to see the changes. SwiftKanban will highlight the cards on the board – and also show you exactly what happened to those cards in a simple visual on the right!
Combined with the Board PlayBack feature, SwiftKanban makes your Daily Standups, Retrospectives and Ops Reviews meetings a breeze!
Transfer cards from the Backlog board
You created a card in your backlog – and then you realized it needs to be on a different board? Ez-Pz! You can now ‘transfer’ cards from the Backlog board to any other board. Just click on the card menu and select ‘Transfer To’ and select the board your want to move it to.
Easier control of Issues/ Risk/ Blocker Flags
You can now enable/ disable Issues/ Risks flags directly from the flag icon on the card, just like you could with the Blocker. Just click the icon to change the state. We have also grouped all flags together so you can manage them more easily!
Easier for Newbies!
For those of you who are just beginning your journey with us, we’ve made multiple improvements to the quick tour. For a first time user, we now have a separate tour that will take them through the product. It’s easier than ever now to get your colleagues/ friends onto the board!
We hope you like the new improvements. As always, your feedback and suggestions are invaluable to us. Please keep them coming on the SwiftKanban Feedback portal and let others vote on them as well!
