Digité appoints new CTO.

Digité, the leading provider of Enterprise Process and Portfolio Management solution announced the appointment of Dr. Ramesh Patil as CTO.

Ramesh is a highly experienced CTO and brings over 30 years of rich experience to Digité. Ramesh served as the CTO for Rightworks, from its inception till the year 2000 when the company was acquired by i2 Technologies. At i2, Ramesh was VP Technology and Technology Strategy till 2004.

As a CTO, Ramesh will work closely with Digité management team and the product engineering group to keep the company focused on growth in an increasingly competitive market. His proven expertise in technology, corporate development and strategy will enable him to maintain the company’s development as a leader in the Enterprise Process and Portfolio Management domain.

Ramesh also is a pioneer in the field of Artificial Intelligence and its application to medicine and has served on the faculty of Computer Science at MIT and University of Southern California, Information Sciences Institute.

Ramesh holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, a master's degree from IIT Kanpur and a Ph.D in Computer Sciences from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He is also a fellow of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) and American College of Medical Informatics (ACMI) and served as the Editor-in-Chief of AI Magazine from 1991-96.
