Digité Participates in TiECon 2005

Digité showcased its product in The IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE) annual conference, TiECon 2005, the largest entrepreneurial conference in the world, held on May 13 and 14, 2005, in Santa Clara, bringing together more than 3,000 participants, executives, successful entrepreneurs, and thought-leaders for two days of learning and networking. The theme of this year’s conference was ‘Energizing the Global Entrepreneurial Spirit.’

Among the luminary keynote speakers were Steve Ballmer of Microsoft, Daniel Rosensweig - COO of Yahoo!, Dr. Eric Schmidt - CEO of Google, Thomas Friedman - NY Times columnist and author of ‘The World is Flat: A Brief History of the 21st Century,’ and venture capitalist Vinod Khosla. It is notable that Dr. Suhas Patil, the Chairman of the Board of Digité, Inc, was the first President of TiECon (1993).

"Such conferences are a great place to meet up and partner with people who are working on innovative complementing technologies. It also brought us in direct contact with the decision makers of the various Indian companies that could boost our local market penetration. Tom Friedman's keynote emphasized the need of an integrated platform for IT Management and all aspect of IT services delivery. It was interesting to see the crowd at our display booth to learn more about our differentiated offering", commented Ram Subramaniam, VP Sales.

Digité has primarily been selling in the United States since its inception. The company has entered the Indian market in 2004 and has expanded aggressively to exploit the available opportunity. In addition they are also making quick wins in the Europe and Middle East region.
