Digite recently participated in the QAI’s 4th Annual International Project Management Leadership Conference held in Bangalore on May 30th and 31st. We were fortunate to have Ravi (Mr. Ravindra Muthukrishnan, Associate Director Enterprise Applications Group) from Virtusa present a case study of how they went about implementing a global delivery platform at Virtusa using digité.

Virtusa has been in a rapid growth mode and Ravi outlined following three primary objectives behind implementing digité, Due to rapid growth,

• To adopt consistent processes across different client bases for delivery excellence,
• And successfully rollout business & process innovations to stay ahead in the ever changing market place.

Roll out of Digité code named Chorus at Virtusa, is one of the shortest and most successful implementations. Today Virtusa has gone live with Digité with over 4000 active users and has completely automated their Global Innovation Process (GIP). GIP is Virtusa’s best practices based approach for delivery excellence. This success with the roll out has been the result of methodical approach taken by Virtusa. Ravi outlined this approach during his talk at QAI conference as a three pronged strategy.
