A. V. Sridhar,
President and CEO
A. V. Sridhar earlier founded Neta Inc, a Valley startup focused in the area of data mining and personalization. He successfully sold the company and merged its employees with Infoseek Corporation.
Prior to that, he was a founder and President of Wipro, one of the largest market cap companies in India, focused on providing IT consulting and services, with over 5000 people and $500m revenues. AVS was part of Wipro's initial founding team, and was with them for 17 years in various top management capacities spanning distribution, systems integration, software services and eCommerce. He has managed teams ranging from start-ups to 1000 people and created business in excess of $150 million in revenues. He established partnerships with Sun Microsystems, Cisco, Cadence, Adobe, AutoDesk and TIBCO among others. AVS is also a TiE Charter Member.
Currently he is the Founder President and CEO of Digité Inc based out of California. He founded Digité to cater to the needs of organizations who find managing Global Software delivery and Services Outsourcing a challenge. AVS is also a TiE Charter Member.
Dr. Ramesh Patil,
Chief Technology Officer
Ramesh brings to Digité over 30 years of rich experience as an academician, entrepreneur and technologist. Ramesh is a pioneer in the field of Artificial Intelligence and its application to medicine and has served on the faculty of Computer Science at MIT and University of Southern California, Information Sciences Institute.
In 1997, Ramesh was lured into entrepreneurship and joined Rightworks; a provider of B2B e-business applications. Ramesh served as the CTO from its inception till the year 2000 when the company was bought over by i2 Technologies. At i2, Ramesh was VP Technology and Technology Strategy till 2004. Ramesh holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, a master's degree from IIT Kanpur and a Ph.D in Computer Sciences from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He is also a fellow of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) and American College of Medical Informatics (ACMI) and was the Editor-in-Chief of AI Magazine from 1991-96.
Mahesh Singh,
Vice President - Product
Mahesh brings over 20 years of Product Management/ Delivery and Business Development experience to Digité. Prior to this, Mahesh co-founded Aravali Technologies, a Silicon Valley e-consulting company, and as COO, managed Services Delivery and Operations, till Aravali’s successful acquisition by an India-based publicly owned company.
Before Aravali Technologies, Mahesh spent 5 years with HCL America, where he managed business development and delivery of offshore software projects for its West Coast operations, working with Fortune 500 companies such as CIGNA, Boeing, Sun Microsystems and Compaq among others. Before that, he spent 6 years with India’s premier software company, NIIT, delivering consulting and software projects. During that period, he spent 3 challenging years in product management of PC based CASE and project management software in India.
Mahesh holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering from MS University and an MBA in Systems and Marketing from XLRI, India.
Ram Subramanian,
Vice President - Sales
Ram brings in over 20 years of Sales experience in Information Technology products and services in India and the USA. Prior to Digité, Ram was a co founder and head of sales for Aravali Technologies, focused on Information Technology Services till its acquisition.
Earlier, Ram managed key accounts for HCL Technologies - a global IT services organization. Here he was involved in setting up software development outsourcing relationships with Fortune 100 companies. Ram started his career with HCL Hewlett Packard in India where he managed a business unit responsible for the sales of system integration solutions to large corporate customers.
Ram holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from PSG Tech, India.
Suhas Kelkar,
Vice President - Product Management
Suhas brings deep experience in software product development and management. He has worked at various premier software development companies such as Philips Medical, Rational (IBM) and Serena software. During his 15 years of experience, he has worked in a variety of domains such as medical imaging, UML modeling and project portfolio management. He also has a very diverse experience building shrink wrapped products to large scale enterprise software solutions. Through the years, Suhas has been exposed to various SDLC processes such as RUP, XP, SCRUM and is a staunch proponent of Agile methodologies.
Prior to Digité, Suhas lead the Pacific Edge engineering team to build a premier project portfolio management software from ground up. His contribution directly helped a successful acquisition of Pacific Edge by Serena Software.
Suhas has a MS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Florida's Center of Intelligent Machines and Robotics. He also holds a MBA from FIT, Melbourne.
Sudipta Lahiri,
Vice President - Engineering and Professional Services
Sudipta (Sudi) has been in the offshore services industry for over 16 years working with leading services providers like Wipro, HCL Technologies and i2. He is responsible for Digité's product development, presales and implementations.
Prior to joining Digité, Sudi was handling the offshore services organization for i2. At i2, he was responsible for its Americas delivery organization. He was also responsible for Retail, Logistics and Technology Infrastructure practices. Sudi also led the QMG initiative for the i2 India services organization. Before i2, Sudi spent 9 years with HCL Technologies. At HCLT, he played multiple roles - from services delivery to leading sales teams. Sudi was responsible for HCLT America's Insurance vertical.
Sudi holds a masters degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras.
Arvind Khungar,
Vice President – Business Development
Arvind Khungar has over 16 years of experience in diverse IT, Telecom, Networking & Communications companies in India. Prior to Digité, Arvind was Regional Director & Country Manager-Strategic Customers, with Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), a leading provider of Design Automation and Product Lifecycle Management solutions for the discrete manufacturing sector.
Prior to PTC, Arvind worked with leading multi-national organizations viz. Intel Corporation and Scientific-Atlanta Inc., spearheading their sales operations in India. He also was one of the founding members of HCL-Comnet, an HCL Group company, focusing on VSAT based communication networks and wide-area-networks and steered the western region business operations.
Arvind started his career with HCL Limited where he handled sales of IT products and solutions to premier corporates in northern and western India.
Arvind holds a Masters in Management Studies degree from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, (BITS), Pilani (1987).
Raghunath Basavanahalli ,
Vice President - Sales
Raghu brings over 19 years of Sales experience in Information Technology products and services in India and the US. Prior to Digité, Raghu was with Infosys Technologies and HCL Technologies where he was responsible for creating and managing key accounts. Apart from sales and relationship management, Raghu has experience in strategy planning, operations and large change management programs.
He started his career with HCL Hewlett Packard in India where he was a Regional Sales Manager responsible for the sales of system integration solutions to large corporate customers.
Raghu holds a Bachelors Degree from IIT Delhi, India.
C R Parmeshwaran,
Director – Technical
Param has over 13 years of experience in managing software development for the IT industry. With a deep understanding of technological issues and complimentary leadership skills, he handles complex system software and application software development without losing focus of customer needs and quality standards.
Before Digité, Param has had successful stints with companies like Infosys, PCS and CMC where he managed projects for a number of Indian and multinational companies and delivered excellent results.
Param is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur.
